Resources for all
Berkeley International Office (BIO) enhances the academic experiences of international students and scholars by providing the highest levels of knowledge and expertise in advising, immigration services, advocacy, and programming to the UC Berkeley campus community. Their services include:
- Advising for nonimmigrant students, scholars, staff, and faculty
- Visa document production for nonimmigrant students and scholars
- Programs and workshops for students and scholars
- Training and support for campus administrators and faculty
- U.S. permanent resident petitions for international faculty
Student resources
- CalLink(link is external) is the online central hub for Registered Student Organizations at UC Berkeley, including groups of international students.
- The Student Learning Center International Student Program (ISP) co-facilitates new and existing academic support services to enhance the learning experiences of international students and a language exchange program.
- The Graduate Division's Graduate Student Resources Guide provides information and resources for international graduate students.
- The Basic Needs Center provides a list of basic needs (housing, food, and financial security) community resources for international students.
- Berkeley Career Engagement provides information and resources for international students.
- The University Health Services website provides a page about health and wellbeing support especially for international students.
- The International House at UC Berkeley offers community for students, scholars, and researchers who reside there, many of whom are international students.
Employee resources
- The Berkeley International Office provides information and resources to professors and researchers who are coming to the U.S. temporarily for teaching or research positions
