Student resources

Academic appointee resources

For academic appointees seeking accommodations for a disability, information about the interactive process can be found on the "Berkeley Accommodation Process for Academic Appointees with Disabilities" webpage of the Academic Personnel Office (APO) website. APO or Be Well at Work - Disability Management office are available to assist. 

For instructors who receive requests for accommodations, the Academic Accommodations Hub also provides Accommodations Guidance for Instructors.

Non-academic employee resources

For non-academic employees seeking accommodations for a disability, please visit the Staff Disability Reasonable Accommodation Program. Employee and Labor Relations Consultants are available to assist.

Resources for all

  • The Disability Access and Compliance office services students, staff, faculty, and visitors by helping assure all University-sponsored programs and services are equally accessible to people with disabilities. Campus Access Services is responsible for facilitating accommodations and services for non-course activities on the UC Berkeley campus. This includes CART/ASL requests, access information resources, and mobility accommodations for people with qualifying disability needs. 
  • To report discrimination and harassment on the basis of a disability, please contact the Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination (OPHD)
