UCOP has contracted with two external suppliers who will provide an employee emergency loan program. Both suppliers have UC negotiated interest rates, are in complete compliance with the Truth in Lending requirements and will provide online application tools for employees to directly apply for emergency loans.

Graduate Assembly Mutual Aid Fund(link is external)

The Mutal Aid Fund serves graduate students experiencing an emergency and are unable to have their needs met by the Basic Needs Center (BNC). In order to apply to the fund please first fill out the form. A BNC caseworker will connect you with the Mutual Aid Fund case managers if your need cannot be met.
